In the interview, Noah discussed his experiences hosting The Daily Show during the COVID-19 pandemic, his voice role as Griot, which he described as “African Siri,” and his plans following his exit from The Daily Show, among others. While Fallon attempted to get him to reveal whether he will reprise his role, Noah instantly recounts his hatred for movie spoilers. In his words, Noah stated, “I hate spoilers. So, I wouldn’t spoil it even for my friends to let them know that I’m doing a thing. I genuinely don’t. I don’t watch trailers, for instance. I hate trailers. I like getting into the movie not knowing what’s going to happen, what’s coming, not anticipating a single thing.” Despite several attempts, Fallon did not succeed in wheedling any information from Noah on whether he will be participating in the movie. However, Noah had one hint for Fallon on how to find out about his involvement. The comedian stated, “I’m just saying, you should watch it.” Wakanda Forever is set to make many changes to the original Black Panther film as Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa, passed away in 2020, and Daniel Kaluuya, the W’Kabi actor, won’t be returning due to scheduling issues. While the movie is only a month away, little is known about its plot as Disney has gone to great lengths to keep everything under wraps. However, we know the film will introduce a new civilization to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: the underwater-dwelling people of Talocan. Tenoch Huerta, who plays Namor, the ruler of Talocan, has hinted that T’Challa’s decision to reveal Wakanda’s truth placed Talocan in jeopardy. This will explain why the character and his nation decided to go to war against Wakanda, as hinted in the trailer. Namor’s underwater nation seems to have technology on par with that of Wakanda and this promises a very interesting match-up between the two nations. Also, Disney’s marketing hints that Shuri will play a big part in the movie and eventually inherit the title of Black Panther. Nevertheless, this remains speculation and will only be confirmed when the movie hits cinemas in November. By the way, Huerta denies that Namor is the movie’s villain. Instead, he refers to his character as an anti-hero. The film will see Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Winston Duke reprise their roles as Shuri, Ramonda, Nakia, Okoye, and Mbaku respectively. The movie will also introduce new characters. One of them is Namor while the other is Ironheart. Dominique Thorne will portray the latter character.
